Seattle Show Update

The Seattle Gift Show is winding down and by all accounts, it has been a great show! Buyers reported strong holiday sales and the mood is upbeat and  optimistic!

Here's what's "flying" at our show: birds, birds, birds! From napkins and trays with bird imagery from Michel Design Works to nests and bird cages from roost. Other nature themes are dominating buyer interest, including animal and coastal motifs.

Blogger MIA

I've been MIA (missing in action) the last six weeks and plead the "show defense." Preparing for gift show is all-consuming and 24/7. Even when I'm sleeping I'm dreaming about what needs to get done. It's brutal but also my bliss. I love seeing what the vendors we represent have created and love romancing the product through visual display. It's one of the main reasons I got involved in the gift business.

The Seattle Gift Show starts to day and goes through February 8, 2011. I have never felt more ready for a show.  I look forward to sharing show highlights with you.
